Must I be living in the Costa del Sol before I apply?

Native vs. Fluent Speaker.
Do I need to be a native Swedish speaker?
There are normally positions available for various language skill levels. It makes sense that native speakers are desirable, but being able to speak a variety of languages is also a plus. If you can assist a customer or sell to people in a number of languages, at a professional level, you don’t absolutely need to be a native speaker. It’s also not uncommon that even a low level of lesser widely spoken languages can be a bonus because you will be able to assist with communications to the occasional visitor in that language if need be. That fact that you speak Swedish is likely to be a real asset in your job search in the Costa del Sol whatever your level.
